African Wormwood (or Wilde Als) is a cousin to the Daisy Family native to South Africa. The herb has a high concentration of Essential Oils and Active Compounds that provides a strong, camphoraceous scent - often likened to a spicy menthol sage, with a flicker of citrus. This unique scent profile is what gave rise to its use in traditional purification ceremonies and underpins its use as a natural insect repellent. How to use african wormwood
Herbal Tea (Infusion): Place 1-2 tsp in a cup of boiling water. Leave to steep for 10-15 min. Strain and drink hot or cold 2 times a day.
Steam inhalation: Place 1-2 tsp in water and bring to boil. Take off heat and inhale the steam.
