INCI: Verbasum thapsus

Often referred to as “The Lung Herb,” Mullein Leaves are among the most trusted botanicals for chest comfort and respiratory support. Widely used in European herbalism, American folk remedies, and African traditional medicine, Mullein is most often brewed into a soothing tea. For those who prefer not to drink it, the leaves are also used in herbal steams to help ease congestion and open the chest.

Modern herbal studies note its usefulness for dry coughs, asthma, bronchitis, and even so-called “smoker’s lungs.”

♡ Why we love it: Mullein Leaves are naturally rich in compounds that make them gentle yet effective. Mucilage helps coat and soothe irritated mucous membranes, saponins assist in loosening stubborn phlegm, flavonoids deliver antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support, and tannins lend a mild astringent effect. Together, these promote strong respiratory health, aid recovery after illness, and may even support lymphatic flow. Externally, Mullein Leaf extracts can help calm irritation, burns, and swelling - making this herb a versatile ally both inside and out.

Sizes: 200g, 500g, 1kg.
