Marshmallow Root Powder has been used for centuries as a soothing botanical for inflamed or irritated tissues – inside and out. Commonly called white mallow herb, it holds a valued place in systems like Ayurveda, Western herbalism, and Greco-Arabic medicine. Traditionally, it was used to relieve sore throats, ease coughs, calm digestive discomfort, and settle irritated stomachs, bladders, or IBS. Applied to the skin, it was trusted for soothing burns, wounds, and eczema.
♡ Why we love it: Marshmallow Root is loaded with beneficial compounds like mucilage, flavonoids, pectin, starches, and phenolic acids. These naturally work together to comfort irritated tissues, from the respiratory tract to the gut and bladder. It’s also helpful for easing heartburn and urinary unease. Gentle yet effective, Marshmallow Root is perfectly suited for sensitive tummies and fragile skin.
