Uses & benefits
- To aid recovery of gastritis and stomach ulcers
- For upper respiratory infections such as laryngitis and pharyngitis, upper respiratory catarrh and bronchitis
- Sore throats and dry coughs
- May be beneficial in the treatment of emphysema
- For inflammation of the larynx
- Can be used externally as compress for abscesses, boils and minor burns
- As an eye wash for “drying up of the tear ducts
- As a foot bath for swollen feet and hands due to fractures or phlebitis
- As a gargle for mouth washes
Mallow leaf tea
- Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of herb. Infuse for 10-15 min. Strain and drink 3 times a day.
