Astragalus Root can transform your daily tea into a gentle, immune-supporting tonic. Native to China, Mongolia, and Korea, this earthy yet lightly sweet root is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as Huang Qi, or “The Yellow Leader” – a nod to its golden hue and its high respect among healing herbs. For centuries, it has been relied on to strengthen Wei Qi, the body’s defensive energy, helping to bolster immunity, restore vitality, and aid recovery. It’s also traditionally used to ease tiredness, improve digestion, and support respiratory health.
♡ Why we love it: Astragalus is mild and best taken regularly to build resilience gradually rather than as an instant remedy. Its subtle nutty-sweet flavour makes it an easy addition to teas, soups, or broths. Modern research shows it can encourage white blood cell activity, support immune communication, aid kidney health, regulate blood sugar, and contribute to graceful ageing. For added support, it pairs well with other immune allies such as Echinacea or adaptogens like Ashwagandha.
Sizes: 200g, 500g or 1kg.

I wish that the expiry date was listed on the website as this Astragalus expires in September 2025 which is very soon when you are not using large quantities of the product. I have made capsules out of this Astragalus to take for health reasons and as such it is too soon to know if the product is working. I would have to do an update in 6 months when I have blood tests done. Otherwise no issues with the product; well packaged; quick delivery; good service from Essentially Natural.
Super happy with the astragalus. It's of high quality, and much more affordable than buying in capsule form.
This is my 3rd purchase, and now in bulk: product quality has been consistent over time and I'm satisfied with purchasing from this store. Astragalus is a great immune modulator, with anti-inflammatory properties. It tastes great - I use a teaspoon over my cereal every day.
I am very happy with the quality of your Astragalus and all the other items I purchased.
Highly recommended!
