Ashwagandha Root, often described as “The Iconic Adaptogen,” due to its high stature in Ayurveda and now recognition by modern science for its stress-relieving properties. For over 3 000 years it has been used in India and earned the name “Indian Ginseng” for its energy-promoting and vitality-enhancing effects. Current studies confirm its ability to stabilise cortisol, support nervous system health, and improve cognitive function, all thanks to bioactives such as withanolides and alkaloids.

    Herbal Tea (deconcoction):

    Place 3-6g in 500ml of water and bring to boil. Remove from the heat and let is steep/stand for 15 mins. Strain and drink before meals.

    As a supplement:

    You can encapsulate the powder or simply take orally directly (or by adding it to your meals/drinks)

    The best way to use Ashwagandha supplements is to take it with milk or ghee, as it is fat-soluble and helps in better absorption.

    It is generally considered safe to use ashwagandha, but as with any supplement, it's important to speak with a healthcare professional before using it, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have any medical condition or taking any medications.
