Henna Alkaner Powder is a natural botanical powder used mainly as a hair-conditioning treatment for damaged, thin, flat or chemically treated hair. The source identifies the botanical as Cassia obovata , a plant commonly used in neutral henna-style hair care for shine, body and a fuller-looking feel. It is especially useful when the goal is conditioning and volume rather than dramatic colour change. This is a topical botanical powder and should be patch tested before use.
♡ Why we love it: It offers a simple plant-based way to support stronger-feeling, glossier hair without needing a synthetic conditioning treatment. The powder format is easy to mix into a paste and suits hair masks, conditioning treatments and careful DIY beauty projects.

I've been wanting to darken my hair for a long time, but with Henna. I've heard Henna is more hair friendly. I've been researching Henna for more than 4 months and was very excited when I found "Essentially Natural" that not only sells Henna, but the website has a very helpful blog on Henna that describes how you can apply Henna to get different shades of brown to black. This blog has been so helpful. After months of research, I finally went through with Henna. I mixed Henna Red with Henna Cassia (Alkaner) and Henna Black (Indigo) on Day 1. On Day 2 I used only Henna Indigo. It was scary to go through with it, but I am very glad I did it! I love my hair color now. I can't stop looking at it in the mirror. I feel like a different person. Almost like the saying that when you change your hair it feels like you've been on a vacation. It's true. For me the whole Henna experience has been relaxing and fun and I feel like I have control over the color result that I get. There is a leaflet in the box that explains how you must mix and apply the Henna brand. But the information is also on the "Essentially Natural" website. I will be purchasing more of this product as I want to maintain this hair color. I also added Aloe Ferox Powder to the Henna mix for moisture. My hair felt soft and was not dried out at all after the whole process. The Henna washed out easy from my hair with water only. I am happy I found Henna to darken my hair.
I love this product so much, i used so many henna's this one is a keeper
