Dried Alfalfa herb (Medicago sativa) is rich in calcium, potassium, vitamins A, B, E, D, K and U and is one of the best sources of Vitamin B12. It is commonly consumed as a herbal tea due to its noted health benefits. These benefits include; improved digestion, weight loss, and lower cholesterol levels. Alfalfa also contains beneficial compounds such as flavonoids, saponins, and phytoestrogens which can help reduce inflammation, improve heart health and support overall health. It has astringent properties and is also a known diuretic.

Herbal tea (infusion): 1-2 tsp per cup, steeped in boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Drink once per day.
