INCI: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

Dried hibiscus flowers are traditionally used in making teas but they also add a beautiful floral touch to soups and breads, for example (you can mix them into bread dough before baking). You can use infused hibiscus to make your own beneficial hair and skin rinses and face masks and they're a popular natural colourant in many DIY products. They also make lovely decorations for table settings, homemade cards, gifts and the like.

Size: 100g.

This product is certified: Vegan and Food Grade.

Also available in large pack sizes.
  • To make hibiscus tea simply steep a few hibiscus petals in a cup of hot water or tea pot
  • You can use infused hibiscus to make your own hair and skin rinse
  • For shiny hair just add the infusion to your regular shampoo
  • You can use hibiscus petals in DIY facial masks
  • You can use as a natural colourant in DIY products

Hibiscus is affected by pH. In acidic liquids it may go a deeper red hue, while in basic/alkaline liquids if will go more purple, blue or even green. Please keep this in mind when using as a colourant in products where pH is of concern.

Bath Bomb

I added it to my bath bombs and I love it. I also want to mix it with my Chamomile flowers and make tea with it.

Tas-tea!

Tasty! I have not been able to grow my own hibiscus this year so feeling thankful to have found this option. The quantity is the perfect amount to get through the season.

Uplifting

I love the refreshing tangy flavour. I have a stainless-steel infuser which I fill and place in my mug, lovely.
This tea is ideal for hot weather, make a cold tea with ice, also rich in Vitamin C etc.
