INCI: Althaea officinalis

Marshmallow Root is a classic remedy, cherished for its ability to soothe irritation throughout the body – from the gut to the skin. Known also as white mallow herb, it has been an essential botanical in Ayurveda, Greco-Arabic medicine, and Western herbal traditions. Historically, it was brewed to calm sore throats and dry coughs, ease digestive pain, reduce IBS flare-ups, and was applied directly to the skin to help heal burns, wounds, and eczema.

♡ Why we love it: Marshmallow Root contains soothing compounds like mucilage, starches, flavonoids, pectin, and phenols. These actives help relieve irritation in the throat, lungs, stomach, and bladder, while also being supportive for heartburn and urinary discomfort. Gentle by nature, Marshmallow Root is safe and effective for sensitive stomachs and delicate skin types alike.

Size: 75g.

This product is certified: Vegan and Food Grade.
