INCI: Mandelic Acid

Mandelic acid is a wonderful acid for more sensitive skins. As it has larger molecules, mandelic acid doesn't penetrate the skin as deeply, but rather works on the surface to gently exfoliate. It acts more slowly than other acids, but this can be a good thing for those with sensitive skins.

Mandelic acid is part of the AHA family, and like other acids, works best in the 3-4 pH range.
