Commonly known as “The Lung Herb,” Mullein Leaves are one of the best botanicals you can reach for when your chest needs support. A familiar staple across European herbalism, American folk remedies, and African traditional medicine - and if you're a jazz enthusiast, you might even recognise the name from the soothing piece Mullein Leaves. It's most commonly enjoyed as a tea, but for those who aren’t fond of the taste, it’s often used in herbal steams to help relieve chest congestion.
In modern herbal studies, Mullein has shown benefits for dry coughs, asthma, bronchitis, and even what some call "smoker’s lungs."
♡ Why we love it: Mullein Leaves are full of active compounds that make it a go-to for gentle, effective relief. Mucilage helps soothe irritated mucous membranes, saponins work to loosen phlegm, while flavonoids provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits - and tannins add a mild astringent effect. Together, these support respiratory health, calm the body after illness, and even assist with lymphatic drainage. Topically, Mullein Leaf extracts can be soothing for skin irritation, burns, and swelling - making it a great multitasker for both inside and out.

Indeed
Tastes absolutely amazing on its own and/or a splash of honey. Bought 5 boxes about a week or two ago and am still on the first box. A little goes a long way. They even sent me a free sample of the Rose Geranium Hydrosol which I’ve been loving in my honey face masks😋😋
The process was easy and quick
I recently tried Mullein Tea, and I have to say, it has been a pleasant experience. The tea has a mild, slightly earthy flavor that’s quite soothing, making it perfect for winding down after a long day. What I really appreciate about Mullein Tea is its natural benefits. Known for supporting respiratory health, it helped ease my occasional cough and provided relief during allergy season.
The tea is also surprisingly gentle on the stomach and doesn’t have any harsh aftertaste. I’ve found it especially helpful in the evenings, as it helps me relax and prepare for a restful sleep. I also love that it’s caffeine-free, so I can enjoy it any time of day without worrying about disrupting my sleep cycle.
Overall, I highly recommend Mullein Tea for anyone looking for a calming, natural way to support respiratory health or simply enjoy a peaceful moment. It’s a great addition to my tea collection!
I bought it for my daughter who was experiencing accumulated phlegm and cough, after taking Mullein tea for three days everything cleared up, would recommend this to anyone with same symptoms
