Boost immunity with Elderberries. Native to Europe, Asia and North Africa, Elderberries have been widely relied on in European folk and Native American herbal medicines. They were brewed into teas and tonics for respiratory health, reducing fevers, soothing sore throats and easing sinus congestion. Traditionally, they were also taken to strengthen immunity and speed up recovery from illness.

♡ Why we love it: Elderberries are prized in modern blends - often turned into teas, syrups, jams and even added to gin. This is thanks to their highly beneficial active compounds, including flavonoids, vitamin C, phenols, and tannins. These compounds have shown antiviral activity - particularly against influenza - supporting immune defence and helping to shorten the duration and intensity of colds and flu. Their high concentration of antioxidants has also been linked to cardiovascular support, cellular protection and overall vitality. Elderberry has also been found to be a diuretic, acting as a purifier of blood, kidneys, liver and skin. This is why Elderberries remain one of the most celebrated berries, with a long history in home wellness traditions.

Elderberry extracts can also be incorporated into skincare formulations, offering antioxidant protection, gentle toning, and a natural boost for radiant, healthy-looking skin.
