Nurture calm in every sense of the word with Chamomile. Native to Europe and West Asia, Chamomile has been treasured in folk medicine for over 2,000 years - notably in Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome and in both Ayurvedic and Western herbal traditions. Traditionally brewed as a calming herbal tea to relax the body and ease anxiety, it also helped soothe digestive discomforts like bloating, indigestion and mild cramping. One of Chamomile’s most notable qualities is how gentle it is - often considered safe enough for young children, where it was sometimes used for teething and colic (though we’d only suggest this for little ones under the guidance of a doctor).
♡ Why we love it: While almost everyone recognises and loves Chamomile, many don’t realise why it works so well. It’s rich in active compounds like apigenin, bisabolol, chamazulene, and antioxidants - which can be extracted not just in tea, but also in compresses, steam inhalations, and even baths. These are what give Chamomile its mild sedative and anxiety-soothing effects, its ability to relieve digestive spasms, and its antioxidant support against oxidative stress. Skincare wise, Chamomile can help protect against certain bacteria and fungi, soothe irritation, encourage wound healing and support skin barrier restoration.
No wonder Chamomile is now naturalised worldwide, celebrated for its benefits to the mind, gut, and skin.
Size: 75g.
