I make this cream fairly often and have just sent a jar down to my mom as a pre-Mother's Day gift, and she loves it! The secret to the velvety feel on the skin is the addition of arrowroot powder, which soaks up any excess oiliness and provides a smooth glide. As well as being velvety, the xanthan gum gives the cream a light, mousse-like feel too. This cream is fairly rich and thick and you only need a small amount to spread a long way. It can be used on body, hands and face and is a guaranteed winner.

Good afternoon,I hope you are well.
Thank you for your beautiful recipes
I would like to have your advices about the emulsifier that I ned to buy for my homemade body creams and my hair creams:
- the body cream will be carrot juice and papaya and oils (shea butter and olive oil), or carrot/pumkin, betroot/sweet potatoe.
- two types of hair cream (the one is with okra juice, cornstarch amd coconut oil) and the second one(flaxseed gel, cornstarch and coconut oil) .
What emulsifier and preservatives are you recommending? I am a beginner in formulating body cream and hair cream.
for my homemade creams, do I need to use Xanthan gum (for what purpose?) and also arrowroot powder.
I would like to know the price of the himalaya black salt.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
