Rejuvenating Facial Roller Blends

Rejuvenating Facial Roller Blends

Juliette van der Meer

Why use a face roller?

Rollers applied to the face help reduce puffiness, increase circulation and the oils inside them can have a multitude of skin benefits depending on which you use. Let’s get out the roller bottles and make some lovely circulation-boosting facial rollers for Mom.

Tissue Oil Facial Rollers

Tissue oils are particularly amazing for skin. Make up your own tissue oil blends in a roll on bottle for a spa-like facial experience.

Carrot Seed Tissue Blend

Carrot seed oil reduces the signs of aging, increases elasticity and has skin cell regeneration properties. It is also used in aromatherapy for stress and anxiety.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Add the carrot seed and geranium essential oils to the roller bottle and shake gently to mingle.
  2. Top up the rest of the bottle with jojoba oil and the Vitamin E and tilt a few times to fully combine the oils.
  3. Pop the cap on tightly.
Use as needed by gently rolling and massaging into the skin.

Pomegranate Tissue Blend

Pomegranate seed oil is a rich and nutritious regenerative skin oil. Combined with borage, argan and evening primrose oils, this tissue oil blend is refining and anti-aging.

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Top the roller bottle one quarter of the way up with each oil.
  2. Shake gently to help the oils combine.
  3. Massage gently all over the face.

Next up is a soothing chamomile gel eye roller.

Soothing Chamomile Under-Eye Roller

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. In a beaker, mix the gel and aloe vera gel together until smooth.
  2. Blend in the chamomile essential oil.
  3. Pour the gel solution into your roll on bottle, pop the cap on tightly.

Use as needed by gently rolling and massaging into the skin under your eye area.
