We’re beyond thrilled to share that the fountain in our beloved "Reflection Corner" at Aristea Home for the Elderly is now complete! Thanks to the unmatched talents of artist Alani Nel, the area is brought to life with an original artwork filled with inspiring affirmations, radiant colours, and intricate details that add a touch of magic to this special spot. Alani’s art has created a joyful and uplifting ambiance that we know will be treasured by all who visit.

None of this would have been possible without Pieter from De Smit Strukture, who has been a godsend on this journey. He crafted an exquisite fountain that truly highlights Alani’s artwork, transforming the Reflection Corner into a peaceful oasis. We are incredibly grateful to our dear friends, Judy and Gary Kelly, whose generous donation made this dream a reality.

We also want to thank Jacques Gelderblom from Living Gardens Landscaping for helping us source the shrubs that will one day form a lush, private hedge around the Reflection Corner. In time, it will grow into a secluded retreat, encouraging well-being, rest, and calm for everyone at Aristea.

It has been surreal, humbling, and deeply emotional to watch our vision come to life—something our One Percent Team has dreamed of for years! Many of the flower beds in the Sensory Garden have now been prepared. We can't wait for them to transformed into a lush paradise!

Soon, there will be a wall of jasmine behind the fountain!
