Slippery Elm Powder is one of nature’s most soothing remedies – perfect for sensitive digestion and irritated tissues. Used for centuries in Native American medicine and Western herbalism, Slippery Elm (also known as Red Elm or Helmkraut) is cherished for its ability to coat and calm. Traditionally made into teas, poultices or pastes, this powdered bark was used for sore throats, coughs, ulcers, constipation, IBS and inflamed skin – with gentle but powerful results.

♡ Why we love it: Slippery Elm is rich in mucilage – a gel-like compound that forms a natural, protective layer over delicate tissues. It helps soothe the entire digestive tract, ease throat and chest irritation, and support the body’s natural healing response. It’s also a friend to the gut lining, making it ideal for those with chronic digestive discomfort, reflux, or leaky gut. Gentle, grounding, and nourishing – this is a botanical your body will thank you for.

Note: This Slippery Elm Powder is made only with the Inner Bark.
If added to room temperature water and left for a short period of time (about 3-5 minutes) it will start to get the consistency of porridge - this is the mucilage that forms.

Size: 100g.
