Essentially Natural Citronella Essential Oil (standardised) is steam distilled from Cymbopogon winterianus for a fresh, lemony, outdoorsy aroma. It is best known as a natural insect-repelling oil and is widely used in sprays, room mists, candles and outdoor diffusers. In aromatherapy it is also chosen for clean, uplifting blends that help freshen the air and brighten the mood. The crisp citrus-herbal profile layers well with other "fresh" notes for everyday home and body products.

How to use

Diffusion: 3 to 6 drops in a diffuser for 20 to 30 minutes.
Body products: 1 to 2 percent total essential oils in a suitable carrier.
Outdoor spray: Combine 20 to 30 drops in 100 ml water with a solubiliser; shake before use and avoid fabric.
Candle and home: Follow your wax or base supplier's recommended fragrance load.
Blends well with: lemon, lemongrass, lavender, rosemary and cedarwood.
