Discover one of the most powerful immune-supporting botanicals available: Barberry Bark. Indigenous to Europe, Western Asia, and North Africa, it has held an important place in Ayurvedic, Unani, and Traditional European medicine for centuries. Traditionally brewed as a tea, Barberry Bark was used to aid the liver and gallbladder, ease digestive troubles, clear the skin, combat infections, and support overall detox. It also blends beautifully with other well-known herbs like Dandelion Root and Milk Thistle.
♡ Why we love it: Barberry Bark is rich in berberine – the compound that gives it its golden-yellow colour, distinctive bitterness (hence its popularity in capsules), and outstanding antimicrobial strength. Alongside other active compounds, berberine is known to stimulate bile and liver activity, improve sluggish digestion, fight infections (including Candida), regulate blood sugar, and bolster the immune system against bacteria and viruses. It’s equally valued in skincare, helping with acne and inflammatory skin concerns when taken internally or applied topically.
Sizes: 500g or 1kg.
