Extracted from the seeds of blackcurrant berries, black currant seed oil is rich in vitamins, minerals and phytonutients. It is a rich, heavier oil that is slow absorbing, making it fantastic for dry skins, mature skins or problem skins, but well tolerated by all. Black currant seed oil is also great for the hair and scalp.

How to use black currant seed oil
It can be used neat on the skin, in combination with other skin oils, or in formulations. Black currant seed oil is heat sensitive so avoid heating it if possible and use in the cool down phase of formulations.
Tip: try blending it with faster absorbing oils such as jojoba, argan etc. to help it absorb quicker.
