Honey Powder - Food Grade

Honey powder is the freeze dried version of pure honey, and is typically used as a natural sweetener and sugar replacement. However we love to use it in skincare!
Honey has profound effects on the skin and can be used everyday to moisturise and brighten the skin and complexion.
Honey powder is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture to the skin. Honey also contains enzymes which work to cleanse pores and control surface oils. Honey powder helps to create a perfect balance for your skin while its natural antibacterial properties prevent bacterial build-up on the skin's surface and within your pores, helping prevent breakouts and blemishes.
The nutrients, enzymes, and healing compounds of honey powder will exfoliate and hydrate while keeping your skin healthy.
We love to use honey powder in facial products such as lotions, creams, masks and cleansers.
Fun tip: combine it with buttermilk powder for an ultimately luxurious ‘honey and milk’ bath powder.

Can it be consumed
Hello Bridget,
Yes, absolutely: Honey powder is a freeze dried version of pure honey. It's typically used as a natural sweetener or sugar replacement and is a food grade product.
First time with honey powder and so far wow a superb product
I've never worked with honey powder before, so I'm doing a fair amount of experimenting, and so far, I've enjoyed the final product yields.
I use it for tea, face masks and body butters. Absolutely amazing. My favourite secret ingredient:;
I will not repurchase. I lost another batch even when sealed in the original packaging. I'm rather now looking for a liquid extract which will have a longer storage shelf life
Hi Karen, did your honey powder go hard? It is still fine for use, it just needs to be re-powdered. You can put it in a coffee grinder/food processor and powder it up
