Dried Poke Root Cut (Phytolacca decandra) - Bulk

• It aids the cleansing of the lymphatic glands
• Used for tonsillitis, laryngitis, swollen glands and mumps
• For mastitis
• Rheumatism (especially where it is long standing), rheumatoid and arthritis
• For glandular fever
• Externally it can helprid the skin of scabies, eczema, psoriasis and fungal infections and other pests

Put ½-1 teaspoon of the root in 1 cup of water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10 -15 min. Drink 2 times a day.

Acts as an anti-rheumatic, stimulant, anti-catarrhal, purgative, and emetic.

• Do not use whilst pregnant or breastfeeding
• Take care for in large doses it is powerfully emetic and purgative
• Only small amounts should be used as large amounts can cause poisoning
• Should only be used by trained herbalists
