Jozi Organic African Citrus Roll-On Natural Deodorant has a unique, fresh and slightly citrus fragrance that will keep you smelling as fresh and delicious as fruit throughout the day! While antiperspirants inhibit natural body perspiration with pore clogging chemicals, deodorants allow perspiration, but prevent odour. This 100% natural deodorant is made from plant derived organic ingredients that are effective, contain no nasties and are good for you and the environment.

  • Free of aluminium: Aluminium is a common antiperspirant additive that prevents perspiration. However, it is a skin irritant, clogs pores and has been linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.
  • Free of alcohol: This solvent is used extensively in perfumes and other cosmetics, but over time can cause dryness and irritation.
  • Free of parabens: Parabens are used as preservatives in almost all cosmetics. Parabens can cause skin irritation, contact dermatitis, skin allergies and are surrounded by breast cancer controversy.
  • Free of petrochemicals: These are used in almost all cosmetics as cheap and effective fragrances, colourants and other ingredients, they can provoke skin allergies and destroy the natural oily barrier on the skin, leaving it dry and flaky.
  • Free of propylene glycol: This is used in most deodorants and cosmetics, it can be a skin irritant and alters skin structure, allowing potentially harmful chemicals to penetrate deeply into the skin.

Jozi Organics citrus roll on

I really like the fragrance of the deodorant but find it doesn’t last very long and unfortunately I think I sweat too much to just use the deodorant so I can usually smell myself not very far into the morning:/ but as it’s not claiming to be an anti-perspirant I can’t really say anything further than that.
