  • Use as a colouring ingredient 
  • Can be used as a lotion to soothe irritation of the eyes
  • Said to improve digestion, regulate the gall bladder, liver and kidneys, menstrual disorders, improve resistance to infections
  • Can be used to clean infected wounds and as hair wash 
  • Leaf infusions were once used as treatment for rheumatism
  • Include in bath bombs and creamers, or press onto the surface of soaps for decoration

BLUE CORNFLOWER TEA

  • One to two teaspoons of the herb in a cup of boiled water.  Drink a maximum of 3 cups per day. 
  • It can also be blended in a mixture of other herbal teas.

ACTIVE PROPERTIES

  • General tonic, stomachic, diuretic
