As a herbal preparation it is best known as a natural antidepressant, but in its infused oil form St. John’s Wort is a wonderful emollient, moisturiser and skin softener. It's an anti-inflammatory which makes it highly effective on sprains, bruises and varicose veins; a great soother for sunburn, bee stings, mild burns, some eczemas; and when used as a massage oil it can help relieve nerve pain. However, please exercise caution: St. John's Wort oil should not be applied to broken skin or open wounds. It is also not recommended for use on pets.

I buy this on a regular basis.

Seeing as I can't grow St.John's Wort on my own it's extremely convenient that Essentially Natural stocks the infused oil. It has a beautiful red colour and works wonders on the muscles of the body. Highly recommend this product. Will be coming back for more.

Escentia St Johns Wort infused oil

I use this oil as the main component in making my Pain Relief Salve and will be lost without Essentially Natural since I cannot get it anywhere else locally. I even handed out small samples of the salve to friends, and received requests for more, so I can definitely see this product becoming a regular on my Essentially Natural shopping list.
