Escentia organic Lemon pure essential oil has a fresh, clean citrus aroma that stimulates both mind and body. One of Lemon oil's most important properties is its ability to defend the body against almost any infection. Thanks to its antiseptic properties, Lemon oil is handy to have around the house and can serve as an all-purpose cleaner for cleaning bathroom and kitchen surfaces.

  • For a sore throat try gargling with 3 drops of lemon oil in a half glass of water.
  • For colds and flu, use six drops of lemon oil in your steamer/vapouriser to keep your lungs clear and energise your mind
  • For a household disinfectant add a few drops lemon oil to your cleaning cloth before wiping down germ laden surfaces such as chopping blocks

It's one of my most favourite oils ever

Where do you even start, when you need to list the benefits of lemon oil?
You use it when the kids have fever (run along the spine instead of giving them panado)
You diffuse with peppermint and eucalyptus if you have a cold.
You make a scent tent (a few drops on the palms and make a tent for your nose and mouth to breath in deeply) to perk you up..
you add to night cream (not day, because it makes your skin sun-sensitive).
you add a few drops to your drinking water or when you bake.
you add some to your tooth paste or to home made shampoo or castor soap.
Cut it short - that's an oil I buy in high volumes, because I literally use it every day.
