Dried Elecampane Root Cut has a very soothing, calming and expectorant action on the respiratory system. For treating bronchial coughs, especially in children. Use wherever there is copious catarrh (excessive mucus). For example bronchitis and emphysema.

  • For allergies
  • Also for asthma and bronchial asthma
  • May act against tuberculosis bacteria
  • Good for chronic cough, emphysematous conditions, chronic bronchitis and tuberculosis

Infusion: 1 cup of cold water onto 1 teaspoonful of the root. Stand for 8-10 hours. Heat up, filter and take very hot 3 times a day.

Extremely effective

Started using Elecampane root from Essentially Natural due to the benefits it could have on my COPD and asthma. I have been using it for more than a week now and I could not be happier and more satisfied. My phlegm is not such a big problem anymore and I can breath with more ease. Works like a charm! Never felt so phlegm free in the mornings! I didn't mind the taste but my partner wasn't a fan, but she just added a tea-bag of rooibos to her cup and was very happy with how it tasted then.
