Inulin is a prebiotic that supports the skin’s microbiome and skin-friendly bacteria which keep everything balanced. It offers moisturising properties, and is a natural humectant and conditioner.
Inulin is also a form of indigestible dietary fiber that makes one feel fuller for longer, helping control appetite and maintaining blood sugar levels. It is widely used in food as a sweetener and source of soluble fiber.
We love inulin primarily because it allows for a prebiotic in skincare! Using pre- and probiotics in skincare products is very on trend in the skincare industry currently.

Measure out the ingredients and combine everything in a pipette or spritzer bottle. Inulin may take a bit of stirring to fully dissolve, if you find yourself struggling try heating the inulin and hydrosol mixture to help it along. Then shake well to mix in the preservative and the allantoin if using. Read more on our other water based serums in our blog.
Usage
1-2% in water phase added at cool down.
Inulin likes a pH range of 4.5-10, so keep this in mind when formulating.
Ingredients
Inulin (native inulin) from chickory
Country of origin
Manufactured in the EU
I love this product, it makes me feel good within a day. I sleep better now, it tastes good and dissolves easily. I just mix with water or add it on my oats.
I am using this inulin to make my L.reuteri yoghurt and the end product is superior to other inulin's I've tried. It's good to know that it is sourced from chickory. The one I bought under the Dischem brand (undeclared source) yielded a bitter tasting end product.
Love this product
Good quality and fresh
And the service is amazing
Will order again!
I recently purchased Inulin online, and I must say, it has been an absolute game-changer for my digestive health. From the moment I placed the order to the point of delivery, the entire experience was seamless, prompt, and utterly reliable.
Quality and Effectiveness
The quality of the Inulin is top-notch. Within a short span of time, I've noticed significant improvements in my digestive system. It's easy to incorporate into my daily routine; I simply add it to my morning smoothie or oatmeal, and I'm good to go.
Consistency
One of the standout features has to be the consistency of the product. Each package arrives with the same excellent quality, which is reassuring. This has allowed me to make it a regular part of my wellness regime without any second thoughts.
Delivery Experience
The delivery has been faultless every time. The packaging is secure, ensuring that the product arrives in perfect condition. What's more, it always arrives on time, which is particularly impressive given the current logistics challenges many are facing.
A great product to add to our Family of products servicing the Lower Gut Biome Project.
