Dried Dong Quai Root is traditionally used to treat hot flushes and other menopausal symptoms. It also acts as mild sedative, laxative, diuretic, antispasmodic and pain reliever.

Preparation
Decoction: 1-2 teaspoons of root in 1 cup of cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes. Strain. Drink 2-3 times per day.
